TPO Roofing in Williamsburg, VA
RoofTrue works with TPO roofing for low-slope sections in Williamsburg and Hampton Roads, such as porch roofs, additions and flat areas that shingles cannot handle. TPO is a single-ply membrane with heat-welded seams. We will tell you whether TPO, EPDM or another option makes the most sense for your section.
Warning signs
Signs you may need tpo roofing
- A flat or nearly flat roof section that ponds water
- Shingles installed on a slope too low for them
- Old built-up or rolled roofing that is cracking
- Leaks at a low-slope addition or porch
What you get
What the job includes
- Inspection of slope, drainage and existing layers
- Membrane comparison: TPO, EPDM, PVC
- Installation with heat-welded seams and proper edge detail
- Tie-in flashing where the flat section meets the main roof
Our approach
How we approach tpo roofing
Shingles need slope to shed water. Below a certain pitch, water sits long enough to work its way under them. Low-slope sections need a membrane instead, and the seams and edges are what make or break it.
The trickiest part of most residential flat-roof jobs is the transition to the sloped roof or wall. That flashing detail gets our closest attention.

Straight answers
TPO Roofing questions
What is TPO roofing?
TPO is a single-ply roofing membrane used on low-slope and flat roofs. Its seams are heat-welded together.
TPO or EPDM for a porch roof?
Both can work. The right choice depends on the section, how it ties into the house and budget. We explain the trade-offs at the estimate.
Why does my flat roof hold water?
Usually low spots in the deck or blocked drainage. We check slope and drainage before recommending a membrane.
