About RoofTrue
RoofTrue is a residential roofing contractor based in Williamsburg, Virginia, founded in 2019. We were started on a simple idea: homeowners deserve honest pricing, careful work and a contractor who tells them the truth about their roof, even when the answer is a small repair instead of a big job.
Why we do it this way
Too many homeowners have dealt with surprise add-ons, pressure to sign the same day, and shortcuts that only show up after the crew leaves. RoofTrue was built to work differently.
That shows up in Mike's three promises, TRUE Pricing, TRUE Precision and TRUE Protection, which every job is held to. True Pricing means a clear, itemized estimate before work begins, and any hidden damage gets shown to you and approved before it is fixed. True Precision means close attention to flashing, valleys, vents and edges, the details that keep water out. True Protection means complete GAF roof systems installed for the long haul.

Warranty options depend on the roof system installed and are explained in your estimate.
VELUX® Certified Installer
RoofTrue is also a VELUX Certified Installer, so skylight installation, replacement and repair are done to VELUX standards, with the flashing tied properly into the roof around every unit.

We install complete GAF roof systems: underlayment like TigerPaw and FeltBuster, Timberline HDZ shingles and Seal-A-Ridge caps. Warranty options depend on the system installed and are spelled out in your estimate.

We inspect, take photos and explain what we found. You get a written estimate with options when more than one makes sense.
Step 3
Approved scope, quality work
Work follows the scope you approved. If we find hidden damage like soft decking, we show you before going further.
Step 4
Final walkthrough
We clean up, sweep for nails and walk the finished job with you.
